Hey ya'll!
I hope everyone has been doing well! We certainly have. I only have like 10 minutes left to email, so lets get to it!
This week was simply smashing! We spoke in Sacrament on sunday, and we were able to take up the entire time! I felt so grown up! And since I don't have much time, I just want to share one great experience. We had a lesson with Sister Dudek and Brother Lorne yesterday and it was just the best thing ever. Sister Dudek is a convert as of 2 years, and is so solid. She's from Germany, and has a really cool conversion story. She basically teaches the lessons while we're there haha. Brother Lorne is from England (he gets along with Elder Hawkins really well) and is a returning member. He's in his 70's and he's a priest, so we are trying to help him prepare to receive the Melchizedek priesthood. As we taught him, I really felt like we were helping him progress and it was just the greatest feeling. And the dynamic between Sister Dudek and Brother Lorne is just fantastic. They both have thick accents and will banter back and forth. At one point, he leaned over and said, "if you interrupt me one more time, I will shoot you" It was hilarious haha.
