Happy Easter Everyone!

This week was great, and full of miracles!

So first, that lady, Gerra, who was at the relief society activity last week, and her husband have met with missionaries before. However, we were able to see Alex, her husband, this week, and invited him to hear the discussions again. He accepted! So we will begin having more official lessons with them, and hopefully help them progress to baptism!

Another miracle, we stopped by this house one evening looking for a less active member, but apparently we had an old list and they had moved a while back. BUT, the guy who answered the door, Mac, was up for having us over another time to share the message of the gospel with him! We had an appointment for this past Saturday, but when we stopped by he wasn't home. On our way over to someone else's house, we saw Mac drive past us. He waved, and then he pulled over, got out of his car, and started walking up to us. He came over and apologized that he couldn't meet that night, but he wanted to reschedule for next Saturday! We're super excited to meet with him, so seems like such a great guy!

We also had Zone Conference this week, and it was just awesome. We had a bunch of great trainings, and then a really powerful testimony meeting after. I love getting to go to Zone Conference, it's just such a full day packed with great stuff. Plus I got to see some of my favorite people who are now serving in the Carston Zone.

Spiritual thought of the week! 2 Nephi 32:8

. . . For if ye would hearken unto the Spirit which teacheth a man to pray, ye would know that ye must pray; for the evil spirit teacheth not a man to pray, but teacheth him that he must not pray.

Prayer is so important. It's what allows us to build a strong relationship with our Heavenly Father. I've met so many people recently that wonder why they don't have strong testimonies, but when you ask them how their daily prayer is going they just say, "it's not". Our Heavenly Father wants us to pray, he wants us to talk with him. If we want a strong testimony, we need to pray. It's that simple.
